The project is a design-build, 1,300-student station, middle school for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Several 1-story buildings are interconnected and enclosed, and are designed as Enhanced Hurricane Protection Areas (EHPA). The 3-story building houses classrooms and administration. The site of the project was required to be demucked by about 2 feet.
