New Marlins Ballpark

Location Miami, Florida

Project Detail

The future home of the Marlins will be a first-class baseball stadium for the two-time World Series Champions. It will be constructed on the historic Orange Bowl site in the Little Havana section of Miami. The air-conditioned ballpark will have a retractable roof, a natural grass playing field and 37,000 seats, including approximately 3,000 club seats and 60 private suites.

The new ballpark’s footprint will have a south-east orientation, with unobstructed views of Miami’s skyline made possible by six operable glass panels. The ballpark will celebrate Opening Day in April 2012 and will attract a wide variety of events throughout the entire calendar year.
